ALBUM OF THE YEAR

JERRY LEE LEWIS
"LAST MAN STANDING" (2006)

The "Killer" is back.
Here's the quintessence of rock'n'roll with blues and country contaminations, in the form of duets with music stars as Springsteen, Fogerty, Neil Young, Little Richard, Willie Nelson, Kristofferson and many others.

An absolute masterpiece from a real genius.
Elvis's gone, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins too, but Jerry Lee is still here, the "last man standing" .
As Bob Dylan would say "he was so older then, he's younger than that now".
The album of the year !

P.S. If you want to learn more about this, read through Paolo Vites' excellent review (see the link: "Gamblin' Ramblin')
